One place to begin

Start with where you are.
See where it takes you.

Explore the map, open a place, then tap through the tabs.
The little details follow you along.

01 / MAP

The world, within reach.

Mimo picks temples, cafés and local favourites from the real places around you, each with a one-line why. Search, show food or washrooms, or follow along as you move.

02 / PLACE CARD

Arrive with the words.

Tap any place for what to say there, in local script with a short “because…”, plus tips, Directions, a taxi card and your allergy card. Show a phrase full screen, flip it, or hear it.

03 / TRANSLATE

A conversation, face to face.

Live two-way translation as you speak. Tap a language to hand over the turn. Lay the phone flat and the screen splits: their language faces them, yours faces you.

04 / MIMO

Ask a local friend.

Plan a few hours, ask what to order or how things work here. Mimo checks the web and travel guides, and puts the places it suggests on the map.

A day with Ryoko

Big adventures.
Small, everyday moments.

The best part of a trip can be an unplanned stop.
Feel a little more at home when you get there.

SAY HELLO TO YOUR LOCAL FRIENDMimo, a friendly pebble-shaped character with two eyes
A familiar face in an unfamiliar place.
Meet Mimo

A local friend.
With you for
the little things.

What should I order? How do I ask for that? Where should we go next?

Mimo checks the web and travel guides, plans a few hours around where you are and what you like, adds the phrase you’ll need at the gate, and puts it all on the map.

It remembers your trip, too, so its suggestions get better as you travel.

“Help me plan a 3-hour tour nearby.”

Thoughtful by nature

It’s in the little details.

01

It starts with you.

A short survey, then the Me tab: allergies, diet, your usual order, travel style and a few words about you. Ryoko uses them everywhere, and a short “because…” says why.

02

Important words, clearly.

The allergy card helps you explain each allergy and how serious it is in the local language, with your language underneath. Common allergens use fixed wording that works offline.

03

Hear it said.

Tap Speak on any phrase to hear it in a natural voice. Phrases you’ve played are saved on the phone, so they’re instant next time.

04

A little look ahead.

Preview any place at any time up to a week ahead, from tomorrow’s café to tonight’s dinner.

05

On your lock screen.

Once you’re there, your top phrase for the place sits on the lock screen and in the Dynamic Island, one tap from Show.

06

A trip that remembers.

Mimo remembers the places you’ve been and the phrases you’ve used, and the travel guides behind its tips are cited on the card.
